New exhibition spaces, a completely changed layout and cutting-edge technology welcome visitors to the old Florentine palazzo housing the instruments designed and made by Galileo and the prestigious scientific collections dating back to the early days of the Renaissance.

The elegant display cabinets of the latest generation highlight the aesthetic quality of the objects, at the same time assuring their perfect conservation. The calibrated use of light, colour and materials helps to show the objects to best advantage, and imparts a coherence over the exhibition layout that progressively descends in scale from cabinet to cabinet.
