With the "Dagli Sforza al design - Sei secoli di storia del mobile" exhibition, the section dedicated to the wooden furniture from the collections of the Museo delle Arti Decorative re-opened to the public with a completely renewed display layout.

In a virtual voyage crossing six centuries of the history of furniture and arriving at the contemporary age, unlike past displays, in which the museum’s furniture was shown in rows on single pedestals, the articles are now shown in coherent groups from a chronological point of view and accompanied by works of art in various media, prints and paintings of the appropriate period.
