Roberto Mascaroni
Roberto Mascaroni lives and works in Milan. He began his photographic career at the historic Foto Saporetti agency, renowned among art galleries and artists. He has collaborated with numerous contemporary artists, such as Kengiro Azuma, Guttuso, Franco Francese, Lazzaro, Ettore Sottsass and Roberto Sambonet. He has also been commissioned by various civic museums, such as Castello Sforzesco, Museo di Milano, Museo del Risorgimento, Museo della Scala and GAM. As a result, he inevitably developed a passion for art and its manifold expressions, particularly for photography’s realistic and surrealist “impressions.” The seemingly cold and bloodless details of daily life, like an office, a cigarette butt, or a crack in the wall, take on spiritual meaning and every face and body is imbued with magnetic charm.
