The collection of Egyptian art at Cambridge University’s Fitzwilliam Museum is one of the finest in Great Britain.

The recent rethinking and new layout, including the replacement of the old displays with new ones made by Goppion, has made it possible to optimise the use of the available spaces and organisation of the display. A steel tree structure enables an innovative form of display and illumination of the splendid sarcophagi, whose original composition has been recreated here.
